1. Wing Head – CBA Project Management (VP / SVP Level)

  • Reporting To: Divisional Head – Core Banking
  • Location: Karachi

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized local or international university.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Prince2 will be highly preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role in core banking or project management.
  • Proven success in managing complex IT transformation projects, especially within banking or financial services.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of core banking systems, software implementation, and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum, PMBOK).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the bank’s core banking application (CBA) transformation projects.
  • Ensure all projects are executed in line with predefined timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across project lifecycles.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments and external vendors.

2. Unit Head – Network Operations (Central) (AVP / VP Level)

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in a similar role overseeing WAN, LAN, and IT infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise network solutions and troubleshooting.

Technical Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Proficient in managing networking technologies including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto devices.
  • Strong grasp of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and network security policies.
  • Ability to oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the central operations of NBP’s enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent would be a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a large organization providing IT support.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and be available on-call.

Key Responsibilities:
