Minimum Eligibility Criteria
For SST (BS-17):
- Must have at least a Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s Degree (16 years of education) from a recognized university.
- Candidates with B.Ed or an equivalent professional qualification are preferred.
- M.A. in Education Planning and Management (EPM) is also acceptable.
For TGT (BS-16):
- Requires a Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree (14 years of education) in the relevant subject from a university recognized by HEC.
- B.Ed or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Age Criteria
- SST: 22 to 30 years + 5 years general age relaxation
- TGT: 20 to 28 years + 5 years general age relaxation
Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission.
Additional Age Relaxation Categories:
- 3 years for candidates from Sindh (Rural), Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, GB, Tribal Areas.
- 10 years for government employees with 2 years of continuous service.
- 10 years for disabled persons.
- 15 years for retired armed forces personnel.
- 5 years for children/spouses of deceased civil servants (on or after July 1, 2005).
